How do I make a signature?

I was modifying my profile to add more information and create an avatar, and saw a line for creating my own signature. Where do I go to do that, like choosing a font, color, or smiley? Thanks in advance for your help.

Dot...WAY cool avatar!  I don't see a place to choose the formatting options while writing the signature-probably assumes you already know the code, so I did a test...did the whole thing in a reply then copied & pasted it into the signature box...worked just fine!

Yep, what she said. Use dumpsterkitty's trick or type your own BB code. (You can learn all the codes by googling bb code. It's similar to HTML.)
