Main Camera captures Archer and Beauty at Times Square building nest box

Well, no birds...but the cockeyed main cam is giving us a pretty architectural picture at least...

The Main Camera is working again, but it looks like there is a problem with one of the motors. This is not unexpected for something that has been exposed to Rochester weather for 8 years.

Rfalconcam will be replacing the entire camera system with something that is faster, more reliable, and able to capture video.

As I mentioned earlier, the cost of the system is about $2,000 more than the Rfalconcam budget allows. Some of you have have made donations to help pay for the camera system. Thank you very much. Every bit helps.

Good catch Donna!  Larry O and I found Beauty on the Mercury statue, which is just in front of the nest box, this morning.  Still no Archer sightings.

Seems the gals just don't want to leave their "lap of luxury". It's probably still too early and Beauty just may go too. One never knows with falcons.  ???

DITTO on Kudos to Donna.  I'm so happy you found her home.  As Carol mentioned she has been visible this weekend.  I saw Beauty just before dark on Saturday on Old Changing Scenes (see Twitter), and last evening Brian and I found her on Widows Walk railing.  As you can see, she looked beautiful in the setting sun.
