FYI. It might be crazy tonite for the watchers because of the city's fireworks. Below is info from the D&C. Dana and I will head down in about an hour hoping to get a parking spot on the bridge so we can also enjoy the fireworks with A,B, & C.

"City of Rochester July Fourth Celebration: The evening kicks off with music by Steve Grills and the Roadmasters at 7 p.m.

The Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Michael Butterman, will play American and patriotic selections from 9 to 10:30 p.m.; and the fireworks will begin at 10 p.m. Main Street Bridge (between St. Paul and State streets). Free. www.cityofrochester.gov."

Cool!  We should be able to hear the music! Maybe even see the fireworks...

Just wanted to follow-up with some pictures from last evening's falcon watch and fireworks display. There's more firework shots that falcon shots, so I though I'd only post it here.

Thanks for sharing, Lou.  I love a good fireworks display but, due to a string of sound sensitive dogs, I have not been able to enjoy them in person for quite a few years.

Thanks Lou!  I spent decades (from 1986 - NY Harbor - Lady Liberty) watching fireworks throught the viewfinder  Wink  Now, I try to leave the Nikon home.  It is very strange to watch them live.  Thanks for my "normal" view!   Wink

Stunning pictures.  Growing up just south of Rochester, I spent many 4th of July nights watching the fireworks.  Glad to see they are still spectacular!!
