I watched it all the time after school, until it ended. No one I know remembers this. Someone out there must have seen it.

Oh for goodness' sake, Donna. Diver Dan!  This board has gone all to hell.
YES I DO most certainly remember Diver Dan. I must have seen it on the Ray Rayner show.
Ha!  Thanks. That's so weird.

I don't think it ever made it to NYC.

I do remember it.  Channels, 2, 4, 5, 7, 9 & 11 were all broadcast from NYC (probably from the Empire State Building) and they were the only ones we got up in West Milford.  This was probably on 5, 9, or 11 (WNEW, WOR, and WPIX, respectively - the Yankees were WPIX and the Met were WOR).

Thank you Janet and dale, I thought I was the only one. None of my friends ever heard of it and they are my age. I thought I was making it up myself until I found it on the net. My husband thought I was crazy, talking Barracuda.  silly

Well, Donna, it looks like it must have been interesting to watch, but I don't think it made it to Boston.
