Oh no! Hope Cheemung is ok Carly and that the others have successful fledges. It hurts so much to lose one.

Checked in with Rob this morning and he said, Oakley was rescued last night from the bushes at ground level and Bruce grabbed her. She was put back up on top of the nest ledge building after dark and is there this morning.

Sprucer made it from the condo tower over to the West Tower - so he's a building away from the nest ledge.

We had a second window strike yesterday and bird is now at Toronto Wildlife. Remaining 2 kids are in my sight right now, on top of towers.  Rob 1 hour ago FB

!!! Some sad news regarding Cheemung!
June 12, 2016 - Etobicoke - Sun Life Centre
Mark Nash Reports:

June 12th - 2016
Moments ago, we just received a telephone call and update on Cheemung, the young female fledgling that collided with the Sunlife tower out at the Etobicoke nest site earlier this week on one of its maiden’s flights. It was rushed to the Toronto wildlife centre for care, but alas, she has succumb to its injuries and died tonight.

Despite a spinal fracture and two pelvic fractures having being diagnosed, it had appeared that her injuries were slowly healing and there was a good chance that she may have pulled through. Sadly although, she passed away shortly after 11pm this evening just before she was to receive her evening meds.

Ambassador Bridge, Windsor

Marilyn Weller Reports:

One of our volunteers, Denis Dupuis, sent this link to a video clip of Voltaire, feeding Westview. In the perimeter, watching dinner time, is another of the young, Ariel.

Thank you, Denis, for this great clip!

There is no webcam at this site, so it was great to be able to see Voltaire feeding. The birds are beautiful and I really enjoyed this video.
