Hummingbird Attacks Goldfinch

No pictures.  I was outside on the front porch cleaning the bird poop off the railing when I saw a hummingbird go after a male goldfinch!  Back and forth to the trees and the house!  The goldfinch was dodging, and the hummer was in hot pursuit.  Suspect a nest in the trees across the road.  This was one of the neatest things that I've seen in a long time.  Don't know who won, but I suspect that these two little ones couldn't maintain that hot pace for too long.

We might be small, but we have more than enough attitude to kick some serious butt!  Or in the case of some of us, mouths big enough to make you think so
