I looked at the pictures Joyce took at KP of the SPE (silver pigeon eater) and wondered

Could this be one of "our" boys?

I don't know...just something about his face just made me wonder...

He had yellow tape over his silver band. The tape could have fallen off by now.

I'm pretty sure there was still yellow tape.  But that doesn't mean it would still be there.  Quest's tape  was off in Cape Cod

Yes...again, from Marcia's album

As he followed the female, his yellow band was apparent again. Off he went, in pursuit of his lady. Both birds flew northeast, and did not return. What a thrill to be able to identify one of the birds we all watched grow and fledge last year.

they said this boy is big. Was Zephyr big? Actually I wondered if he was the one in Buffalo in the abandoned grain elevator.

Joyce,Brian and Carol think this bird is too big to be Zephyr. He and Diamante were on the small side like Kaver said Brian this afternoon. Hopefully we'll get clearance from Kodak so we can ID these birds and solve this mystery. How exciting though that we may have another pair of Peregrine falcons in Rochester! yahoo
