OH, Patti! That is a GREAT find!
How incredible to get to see the birds close up as they belt out all those impossible sounds!
Thanks so much!

Thanks Patti -- this is GREAT!
Fidget, the resident avian, has been singing along with the Eastern Towhee.

Does this site ever deserve a bookmark, Patti! Doubt it will help my skills any, but what a treat to hear them all. I am going to "hit" a few frogs, as there is something that does a lot of singing/trilling/cheeping on warm summer evenings when I am home... and I have yet to ID the sound to my satisfaction. Someone told me Tree Frogs, but when I did a search, I was not convinced.
And... someone, please, tell me the bird in the left-hand corner on the home page. I know I have seen them/it but cannot ID. (Anything new, then?)
(Spell Check: left-hand = Lufthansa. Haha!)

I think that's one of the options we came up with for what turned out to be an escaped pet bird in New Jersey a week or so ago...I don't have my sources nearby.

Looks like the yellow warbler that was in contention for the yellow bird FF saw in NJ...

what about a yellow warbler
This one's a possibility too, but I was checking the gallery of Lloyd Spitalnik for possibilities-he takes a lot of great photos in Central Park & has a
whole section just on warblers
-and all the front views he has of the yellow warbler show reddish brown streaks on the breast...

Why, thanks so much re that ID, everyone. If it
isn't
called a Yellow Warbler, it should be.
