It would be nice to see a pic of each bird if the poster knows how to post a pic.  That would be a nice way to become a bit familiar with different birds.

Bobwhite (properly, northern bobwhite, Colinus virginianus)



I remember hearing these at my grandparent's house on Long Island when I was little, but I don't remember ever seeing one.

Great idea nycbird, I will make a shedule or how do you call it, we will start in November.
like November 1  birds starting with an A and you have to tell something about it, something you know or something you read, a picture will be nice.
