The name should appear right above the avatar inside the gray box.

Is anyone else not seeing it?

I see the name of the poster.  Is that what you mean?  It is helpful.

I am not seeing the forum names but am seeing the avatars

Following up on this post from November...

Shhhh! Don't tell anyone.

I heard a rumor that there will be some new features on the Rfalconcam website next year.

  • 24/7 streaming video from 5 cameras

    DONE

  • Embedded Youtube videos in Forum posts

    DONE

  • Automatic insertion of member names, avatars, and signatures into Forum posts sent to Kfalconcam (I was up until 1:30 AM figuring out a way to make it work. Don't blame me when Yarak turns into Skynet and takes over the planet.)

    DONE

  • Easier to use FalconWatch blog and fledge watch calendar

    ON SCHEDULE FOR JUNE

  • A top secret interactive CENSORED CENSORED that will CENSORED you CENSORED for CENSORED CENSORED!
(A top secret interactive web page that will let you control a camera for a small donation!)

    DONE

And let's not forget Ei's amazing falcon family trees.

Not bad considering it's only February.

Here's where we have Beauty and hopefully Archer, Lady Pefa and her mate, Charlotte Pefa and Brighton Pefas all stay and we have cameras, falcons and watchers all over the city!

This is not really a new feature. It's more of a cosmetic change, but I though I'd post it here so you would know why the forum looks different.

What you're seeing is a sneak peek at part of a proposed change to the Rfalconcam site. It includes a banner with a new logo, a new color scheme, and a new page layout.

The biggest change will be an eye-catching home page that isn't quite as cramped and cluttered as our current one.

Last night around 10, my page suddenly went big, I mean real big. I tried to make it normal size but to no avail. I re-booted but that didn't work. Was going to use a system restore but I figured I'd do in the am. I shut it down and went to bed. Now I see maybe this is why after Bobbie's post. It's still pretty big but I do Love the eye catching Red and Blue, it gives the forum some personality. Really cool Shaky, thanks.

Actually, if I were to criticise, I too might mention the size... a tad daunting? Like the banner, tho.

The page is wider, but no wider than most popular web sites like Youtube and Facbook. The extra width will be needed for other pages on the site.

If it's too wide for your screen, you can use your browser's zoom feature to make it smaller. You can find it in Firefox under the View menu.
