 OK-that was bizarre-I didn't see Archer's white right wing feather 'til just now. I didn't see any white feathers over his cere either when he was sitting on the platform. Gave me some serious agita for a moment! |

I'm listening and watching when I can from work. Twice this afternoon Archer came into the nestbox echupping as if he were calling her. I wonder if he is trying to coax her into the nestbox to say, "Anytime you're ready, so am I."
Then she arrives they both talk and he takes off. After he leaves, she stays in the nestbox tries out the scrape then goes onto the veranda. She starts calling and it sounds like she wants him to return. Both times I saw her put her tail in the air.
The number of viewers is climbing. Hope we get record numbers this year.

CarolP reported seeing a pefa flying north at 6:14pm near Mt. Read Blvd. and Emerson St. I don't think it could have been Archer for he was in the nestbox bowing to Beauty at 6:20pm
