Is there anything else as peaceful as the sight of a peregrine sitting on eggs?
Paul
If there is, I haven't found it

I agree with Paul and Ei - nothing more peaceful than watching our Pefas sit on their eggs. Their care and raising of their young is fascinating to watch. Some of our fellows humans could learn something from these avian parents.
When does everyone think they may/could be a hatch here?
It's so cold. Temp at nest box says 39 degree; it's May third!
I drove through Rochester at 7:40 tonight, and what an eerie sight. We don't have "Tall" skyscrapers, but the top of each building -- the OCSR, TS building, B&L, HSBC, Xerox Tower-- was shrouded in clouds. It was something to see.

I'm going no closer than to say mid-May.

i'm offering santa monica ca for an ideal hatching local---it was 76 degrees today (i know
i brag, forgive me). but the sad thing is that we have no peregrines of our own in so calif
(maybe the channel islands, but they don't come inland often) if you agree, i'll be waiting
at LAX for B, A and the eggs

I think it should be the other way around. Archer needs to keep his talons off Lady Pefa!
