Is anyone coming to bflo saturday? Niagara gorge pefas banded this am. Canada pefa people MOVED THE NEST and put the babies back in a different place!!!
the kids may NOT be getting fed!!!Jacquie notified me today and we went to Terrapin Pt tonight. Saw no pefa adults! Apparently no one from Canada is watching to see if it's okay. Jacqu...ie, John,Sikorski, Roger and I saw no adults. the new female mom was going crazy to the point of exhaustion this morning according to jw.
If you can go, park at Terrapin Pt, tell toll-taker for parking that you are DEC volunteers to watch the pefas. I will send you pix if you can help, to show where to find babies and where nest was before.

Good grief, even if they moved the nest they should have stayed to ensure the young were getting fed just in case they have to move them back.  They moved some chicks in Manitoba week before last for  safety reasons but they monitored to ensure the parents would feed them and were prepared to move them back if not.  Please keep us posted.

Re: Niagara Gorge-I believe it was Mark Nash, CPF & OMNR that were doing the banding.  I really doubt they would do anything to endanger the eyases.  Hopefully we'll get some news soon.

I don't have snagit but I recorder this from my iphone!! A and B at nest. 7:21am. It's a little raw but you get the idea! Main cam flashed a few times plus there was a commercial going on at the other cams.

Not bad!  I've been having trouble with snagit-it doesn't recognize the sound card on my new 'puter-but I haven't had time to investigate...
