Tune in to the live feed right now. They put an egg into the box and Athena and Six/Beatrice and Dante, are checking it out. She almost sat on it. Right now she is on the edge of the box.

I was all excited when I read this but this morning, the egg is still unattended! Is she expecting more? Wonder how many days old the egg is, was it close to hatch? Feel bad.
April 23: Faithful nest watchers have tuned in for weeks, now, anxious to see the first egg in the nest. Unfortunately, that first egg hasn't come, perhaps due to our falcon being just a little older than most. Today we provided them with an egg that we hope they will adopt and incubate as their own. If they do not incubate, then we know we cannot foster a nestling into the nest. This pair has a strong pair bond, and they are proven good parents, so we hold out great hope for them. Stay tuned! -Kathy Clark, ENSP

She was there near the egg at 5:30 am when I woke up. I am not sure what they're doing but I expect it's a dummy egg ? - then if they accept the egg, they can put in a chick. They did that in Warsaw, Poland and the tiercel there has accepted the baby and is raising him. The female, sadly doesn't seem interested. but the male is doing a great job.

They just finished putting two more eggs in for this pair. Athena has arrived and is sitting outside on the perch looking in and then around. Likely puzzled as to where those eggs came from as she doesn't remember laying them
Hopefully they will accept these new ones too. Very exciting, talons crossed.

Woohooo! She's accepted the eggs and is on them right now!! After a half hour, Six came in and he checked out the eggs, stood guard awhile and then left. Hopefully they come back.
