End of August I came home from work to find dozens of dragonflies zooming around my front yard. Tough to get a picture, but I did manage this one. I did get some video and some day I'll have enough bandwidth to upload something to youtube...

and I took 2 pictures of one of the few flowers that have survived in my yard-don't recall what they're called-one with flash and, since it washed out the color a bit (the actual color is the out of focus one top right), one without flash...

I didn't actually turn the flash off, I just held it so it couldn't pop up, so the camera was auto-exposing for flash...some seriously weird color shift!
