We were starting to think that there might be a problem with Beauty's egg-laying this year, but she delivered, depositing egg #2 in the wee hours of the morning. Our best guess at a time, based on images from our cameras is that she laid the egg around 1:14 AM. We didn't get...

Newbie here - but I was just watching one of the pair nesting - the mate returned (time now 3:18 pm Fri, May 6) and when the nesting bird lifted off the nest, there were three eggs!
I was expecting to see only two based upon the postings

Welcome aboard Papasmurf! I'm glad to see you jump right in! We're a pretty chatty group, so it may take a while to get caught up, but if you have any questions just ask! Beauty laid the 3rd egg 2 days after #2.
