Thanks to everyone for the kind words.
On a personal note,as I believe Joyce mentioned it takes alot of players. I myself site co-ordinate for our Bloor and Islington nestsite. Mark and Marion look after setting up banding, that involves speaking to security, property management, window washers..making sure they are available and their swingstage has been inspected and ready to go,mall security and Ministry of Natural Resources. Myself, with able help get the volunteer fledge watchers together and figure out availability, deal with at least 3 buildings security and consierges, local Police and several business owners. To carry out rescues of course we needed co-operation from home/condo/appartment owners. Thats if rescues are fairly simple! Throw in being on the street from 6am-10 or 11pm and the "simple" operation of a banding and fledgewatch are a go. Some nights I post a bearly intelligable account of the days watch, get up 4 hours later and edit it so it more strongly resembles english. Its the same at each of the sites our staff and volunteers attend. This year we are thrilled to be stretched just abit further with 2 more new sites to monitor!  Im not looking for personal kudos, just wanted to let folks who may not know, what just some of "the behind the scenes" challanges are.

and I don't want to forget my other favorite CPF Watcher Linda W, who keeps watch over Quest's sister, Rhea Mae.

Mark spoke to Joyce this a.m., because he really wanted us to pass on the word that a nest tray had been installed for Quest and Kendal.

And does that overhang protect her from the rain and snow?  Looks like it.  I bet Quest and Kendal are thrilled with their new digs.

Now that made me cry!  Tears of happiness!   crying

I am so glad that Quest is going into momma-mode.  Kendal will catch on quick.  Remember Archer when the first egg hatched?  He just looked and circled and looked and wondered how his red little egg turned into a squirmy white creature that shouted at him.   laugh
