I'm not 100% sure whether they were falcons, but at lunch yesterday, I had to run an errand and drove by the Don Valley ravine and saw FOUR birds circling over the treetops. They looked like falcons to me, as they all had the fanned out (slightly brown) tail feathers from underneath. Crazy to see four all at once, though!

Today, though, I'm pretty sure a few of us saw turkey vultures flying around the nest building. Ack. Don't like to see them!

I guess the spring-like weather we've been (were! ...pretty chilly today) having is bringing all sorts to action!

 "I think if I remember correctly he was at the site briefly to say "Hi honey, I'm home" and then was off again. I expect to see more of him soon as next week the temps are back in the plusses again."

Look how far she was on Valentine's day!!

I'm not seeing that she was that far away from the NB.  Am I looking at the wrong map?  I pulled down the Weekly map that goes up to Feb. 14.  Looks like she is staying pretty close to the nest box from I can see. I hope the watchers see her on their trip on Saturday.

Going by the map,she wasnt far from home. In Peregrine terms just around the corner. Have to remember that the satellite co-ordinate is a point in time too,minutes later she could have been on site. Certainly been interesting to see where she is all this winter(that wasnt much of a winter). I hope the girls can see Quest too, wait till you see the gals faces when they get to meet Oscar,Cheyenne and all the rest!

Na there was a day near Tam O Shanter Golf Course which isnt far from where the nest is. Several of the days on the map you showed had her west of the nest so it couldnt possibly be waaaay east near the powerplant. Of course my ability to read maps is rivelled only by  my computer inabilities!(and spelling challanges)
