Ann posted several photos in this posting. I had to add abit of text as there is an issue with the posting system Ann hasnt been shown how to fix.
She got some fantastic shots as usual!

Was that window shade/blind open last year? I can't imagine Q&K being happy with the nearness of their human neighbors.

NO, it was closed when they nested. I think CPF asked them to keep the blinds closed.

It was closed this AM when I looked.

Doesn't seem like they're seeing Kendal at all -hope nothing has happened to him. Also, shouldn't we be seeing someone at their nestbox by now?

Unless...they're going to nest elsewhere ... those open blinds are not very inviting, I wouldn't lay my eggs there with someone staring at me all day. Either way, he should have been working on a scrape by now. Egg laying will start in about 2 weeks here if we go by past years.

Looking back to last year, Quest laid her first egg on April 19th so I guess they still have time but I still wonder about Kendal.

I think all the birds are confused this year. Warm temps, not like last year with 60 inches of snowfall and awful temps. I'd be messed up too!

Wasn't it early April or mid April that Kendall and Quest were at the nest, or were they "flirting around" the area prior to our hearing about it?

According to Tracy, they should be flirting around as soon as tomorrow. Getting things ready!! 2 were spotted today so fingers crossed.
