I'm guessing 2 girls on the outside, one boy in the middle...middle child has dainty BYF compared to the other 2!!!
Nice pic Ei!!
I think you are correct about the gender! question: why do their feathers look different? Coming in differently or are they younger than some that we seen banded in Rochester? They are cute..just the same!

It's a combination of they're still a week younger than Rhea Mae's bunch-their second down isn't completely in yet-and the camera resolution is awful. Plus the picture is taken through a window. They're perfectly normal at the gawky dinosaur stage!

The best age reference guide around is a collaboration between CPF & (the then) Kodak Birdcam
http://www.peregrine-foundation.ca/info/ageguide.html
featuring Freedom (Archer's father) & Isis (M&K 2002)
This is where Q&K's youngsters are...
As they approach two weeks of age, the chicks are beginning to sit upright more often, but still lean on each other, or against the nest box much of the time. The very beginnings of wing feather development are also seen around this time.
Around day 15, the chicks are beginning to enter the "hunchback" phase, during which they are often seen in the pose above, with their feet splayed out in front of them and their head angled forward.

Was emailing back and forth with Ann Brokelman last night and she was at Harlequin yesterday for 1/2 the day and did not see Kendal at all during her time there. Did anyone see him on cam at all? Usually he's close by and bringing food but she didn't see this. She asked a few at Harlequin and no one saw him. Not going to worry yet.

I hardly ever see him on cam. And I think we went through a patch like this last year as Harlie got older-Quest had him out shopping just about 24/7. I think his hiding spot was finally found on the other side of the building.
Quest doesn't seem concerned

Kat, are you around? Can you still the next box on the Harliequin building? Have you seen Kendal?

Has he been seen? I see Quest on the nest ledge looking all around but that doesn't mean anything. Not going to worry! I sent a note off to Kat.
Got an email from MAK this morning:
We saw Quest, Kendal too and could barely see the little ones.
This was yesterday! Phew, OK then
