You sure that's Archer under the pigeon box? Head looks too dark & the malar stripe looks too wide. Could just be the lighting, but still...

Well Ei, we do assume it's Archer... but if it's not then YAY Unity has herself a new gentleman caller!

Just looked at it close up also...I don't think that is Archer either. Looks more like Beauty's head! Oh boy, who is that falcon? I compared it to Archer's head, doesn't match.

Perhaps this explains why Archer is downtown so much lately! Another chapter for "As the falcon flies!"

Neither Ei nor Donna think it's Archer. They are very good at comparing photos. Anything is possible Margaret. Oh I wish I had some wheels right now! Well I guess we watchers have a job ahead of us. If we can see B&A downtown at the same time as Unity and another falcon at KP we will be onto something! Oh boy!!!

I'm hoping to look at some more file photos tonight, but just the few I could browse quickly, Archer's malar stripe end is a bit more pointy to me. And the area over the cere looks dark-dark-dark except for what may be a loose feather parked there.
Now would be a good time for another tiercel to move in when Archer isn't in high-alert-territorial mode.

Here's a side by side of Mr T and the falcon at KP. Not sure it's him either.

Just got on the computer and saw this. Well, I guess the alert must go out to the Watchers to attempt to get pics of the 2nd Falcon at KP and to report all sightings at both KP and Downtown, especially when you see two. This is the way we figured out that it was Archer visiting both nest sites. Let's hope there is a new Tiercel in town.
