...and type in Let it snow

"But don’t worry if you get caught in a complete virtual whiteout, because Google has provided a Defrost button, which replaces the usual blue magnifying glass search button (if you click the Defrost button, the flakes will continue to fall, but without any accumulation). You can also click and hold your mouse to manually brush off some of the white stuff." Search Engine Watch

Nor for me  crying
I think in my case, it's just that my old OS isn't up to it.
But now my computer fund has gone to my local friendly garage, for a new transmission surprise

Oh, sure.  It works for Ei's and Donna's and Shaky's, but not for Carol's!  It's so unfair!   Sad

It won't work for me either.  I have a new (Last June 2011) iMac.  Everything else
seems to work okay for me, but I can't get the Google page!
Any suggestions?

Try this link and wait for a few seconds for the snow to start. It works with Safari 5.1 and Firefox 7.

Largest snowflake: The largest snowflake in recorded history was reported at Fort Keogh, Montana, on January 28, 1887, according to the Guinness Book of World Records. The snowflake was reportedly 15 inches wide and 8 inches thick. The person who found the snow flake, ranch owner Matt Coleman, described it as "larger than milk pans."

Wow! That's much bigger than your typical snowflake. It's even bigger than your typical falcon flake!
