OMG....that's where all the Bats are! That's a lot. Where do they go during the day? Sad I'll bet the whole roof was like that!  Shocked

wow. A lot of poor bats.
The way they erradicate them is crazy. The poor bats are forced to fly during day, probably they fell in the neighborhood, increasing the chance that pets and children enter in contact with the bats...

From the notes under the video it looks like they didn't know they were there until they started pulling the roof tiles to replace them.  They still should have called someone to try to rescue them.  Hopefully they found a safe roost somewhere.

babies would not be able to fly yet.....hope they called a "bat" person.  There must have been hundreds of babies.

Doesn't it depend on what time of year for the babies?
