I know what it is like to watch for a fledging. And that is thanks to you guys who taught me.  Not fun at all when the bird is almost there.  You guys will be rewarded on Monday.  Fingers crossed that Beauty and Dot.ca guide him to safety for days, or at least until Friday.

Whew. PERSEVERANCE!!  Good grief you guys have had a long and ... Fledge watch.  The good news is O will be stronger and lets hope more agile and wiser.

Thank you to all the watchers who were cheering and hooting at 6:58 this morning as Orion took his first flight.  A joy to watch on video, but I can't imagine the joy you felt as you saw and heard him this morning!    Congratulations to  all of you!   Without you, Beauty might not be here, and that means Orion might not either!
