Potential new egg (4th) - 8:13a.  Clear shot of all eggs still needs to take place.

I just got a report from Jacquie which is exciting! And hatches are expected this week!

Quote
I went to Central Terminal at 10:30 and didn't see anything until 11:10 when the male flew in and perched on the southeast corner of the tower, preening. He is clearly banded, Black/Green. I couldn't read it but I am betting this is still Diamante. There were a couple of guys doing some work on the flat roof below the nest and the bird was completely unconcerned. He took off after about 20 minutes and flew to the south, circling high. Another PEFA flew into view and they were foraging in the same area for 1-2 minutes, but there was no interaction and the eventually went their separate ways. I lost sight of both of them. A few minutes later I heard alarm calls coming from the nest box, and when I looked back to the south there were a couple of turkey vultures drifting a little too close to the tower for the female's liking. They also drifted away and out of sight. I never did see the female; she was tight in the box the whole time. I left at noon and the male had not returned yet.

If this is Diamanté, it would be wonderful news! It was so disappointing to think he wasn't still at CT with Gleig.

Popular number! You have four! We have four at UB, CT, Statler and North Bridge! Counts unknown at the gorge and the grain elevator/Holcim. Let all the eggs hatch into lively little Pefas!
