To conclude my morning watch reports. I was on the Andrews St bridge watching Archer sit on OCSR near elevator shaft scanning across the city with my binocs when I spotted Callidora and Beauty flying near th FCT. I took off for city hall and when I arrived I didn't see any falcons. Suddenly I heard our girl kakking. I focused my binocs to find A workman up on the tower below the platform. Next thing I knew Callidora was coming out of the structure.Callidora must have flown around the city hall area for a good 15-20 minutes circling that tower passing overhead multiple times and yes kakking up a storm. After a few minutes the man started scaling the ladder and ended up between the second and bottom arms of the tower. At this point I think our juvie PEFA lost her patience and headed east. I waited half hour for her return to no avail. Lucky for the worker she isn't into adult attack mode yet. It was time for this fledge watcher to go home.(until this afternoon of course)

Hmmm, interesting and unusual behaviour for a juvenile. Can't remember if I've ever heard a juvie kak before or act aggressively towards a person. Whine and cry, yes. Seems more the behaviour of an adult when a human may be too close to a young one. Very curious. We definitely learn something new about them all the time. That's one of the reasons I love to watch them.

We're seeing a lot of really different behavior! Adults whining, juvie kakking at people, father bird not knowing what to do with a hatchling....! Great grandma Mariah probably looking from afar, shaking her head:)

I wouldn't say she was acting aggressively towards the man. She never got close to him just flying around being her usual mouthy self. In the middle of it she was flying with a gull over the church and inner loop in a playful way. No aggression whatsoever, just kid like in my opinion.

Watchers tonight on Broad St. bridge include Jeanne,Dan,Shaky,Carrie,Brian,Dana,Lou,Larry with Cleo and MAK. Beauty flew around Xerox area. Archer stooped from Mercury on a duckling in the river. Left it behind and flew to jail tower.

Oh how sad for the baby duck. I hope it survives.
