I know I don't check the Quest map often enough, so thanks for the reminder, Watchers. Sure is living up to her name, isn't she? I too wonder, as does Donna, where Pickering is in relation to ROC - ie how far. And is there also an active group of Watchers in the area? What a great day you must have had.
(I see ROC is in for another weekend of heat... poor you!)

6:54: M/D- B stooped on Pigeons and missed, she back on Mercury. Can see Archer watching her from the nest box waiting for her to catch him some Sunday morning stuff. She just flew to nest box e-chupping, explaining why she didn't bring breakfast.

Larry and Cleo have arrived, A still on Mercury. B stooped over Xerox and now over Cornhill and back on to Mercury.
7:55: Another stoop off Mercury for B, no luck, went behind OCSR.

8:39 MAK: Andrew St Bridge, no other watchers, just her and Archer now. Bum walking up by MAK's truck eating toothpaste out of tube. Now brushing and spitting on sidewalk. Walking back and forth past MAK. She's freakin. Glad the bums practice good hygiene.

Good afternoon Rochester falcon watchers! After a busy and exciting morning watch (7 stoops from Beauty). Dana and I left downtown about 11:30 leaving Beauty on the top Ibeam and Archer on the 4th Ibeam both tucked in the shade by the elevator shaft. Rachacha starting to heat up after a chilly start this morning. Larry spotted what we identified as a juvenile Great Blue Heron down in the river on the north side of the Broad St. bridge. The juvie Black Crowned Night Heron was over in its favorite alcove. Thanks to Joyce and Brian for giving me the North American bird book that helped us ID these birds. No sign of Callidora as I'm sure she has begun her lifes journey. Perhaps Jemison has hooked up with her along the way!
