Hi folks! We had a little excitement tonight in Rochester. There was a tiercel flying with Beauty. We weren't sure if it was Archer come back from wherever he's been. Dana and I agree that it was a juvie male migrating through. The falcon on the east side of Xerox looked like Beauty to me and Dana thought so too( judging by her pics). Therefore I have to believe Beauty was in her favorite spot 5th column south side of Xerox when I left for the night. If Archer was in town he would have been with her on Xerox. This is my humble opinion. Good night and I'll see you bright and early in the morning!

Thanks for the report, MAK! Hmmm...it would be nice to think that it was a juvie tiercel Beauty knows very well.
except, of course, there were no juvie tiercels at this nest this year

Nice report MAK! Do you think Beauty was escorting him out of town or just some friendly flying?

It looked friendly to me at the start. They were up pretty high mainly gliding around each other and a little talon tagging occurred. They flew over Xerox and both went behind it in a very fast, almost stooping flight and that's the last we saw them both. So in the end it might not have been so friendly. When we drove over there it was just Beauty up on Xerox and no sign of the tiercel.
