Hmmmm, Kathy O's tweet didn't make it to the forum.  She has had multiple sightings of Lady Pefa and her friend this afternoon at KP.  No pictures yet.

She didn't use any valid keywords in her tweet.

OK, I'm making up names of locations at KP as I go.   lol  The structure below the chute on the bldg just east of the blue building we're used to seeing LP on has orange railings at the top of it.  Hence ORB aka Orange Railing Bldg.  This may actually be an elevator shaft, but we're not sure.

Both LP and her friend have been landing there frequently and vocalizing, ee-chupping loudly.  Will this be the area they choose as a nest site?  We'll keep Watching.

But what will they nest in or on? Will the DEC put up a nest or is it too late?

If they choose to nest here, and we don't know for sure that they will, I think it may be a good choice for a nest site.  All we can do right now is keep watching their behavior. See where they go, what they do, how they react to each other.  No copulation has been witnessed between them yet.

Ok, that's cool, as long as they don't lay eggs on a piece of metal some place with no bedding. That would be awful. Same with Seneca last year! Yes, 1 hatched but if she had a nice nest, who knows! Thanks.

Twitter is all screwed up today.  I posted that Brian reported Beauty hunting by Xerox at 5:17 pm.

I got a message back that said "Hi, we're currently working on improving Twitter and can't process your message at this time. Use m.twitter.com or try again later."

Actually, this is a separate problem having nothing to do with Dana's tweets not coming through.

On Sunday Dana set her tweets to protected. Only her followers can see them. Since Yarak is not a follower, he can't post them to the Forum.

Dana, please go into your twitter profile settings and uncheck "Protect my tweets" if you want them posted to the Forum.
