I may be speculating - but it's been awful quiet from the "northern front" lately, and Lou saying six "hopeful" watchers up at KP.    Hopeful?   It's piqued my curiosity about what's going on up there...what are we "hoping" for?

Hey Margaret.  We're all keeping a close eye on Unity's behavior at the scrape at KP.  We're speculating about whether there are eggs or not and daydreaming about a Winter Fledge Watch!   lol

LOL.  YOU would LOVe a Winter Fledge Watch!
Can you get closer or will security let you up where you were before to take a closer peek?

A couple of years ago in Edmonton when Radisson displaced the resident female there, she laid eggs late, although their season is about a month behind ours already due to climate differences.   She only laid 2 eggs, 1 hatched at the very end of June and she fledged on August 10th.  So essentially she had about 3 weeks to learn to fly and hunt and then migrated so if these are new eggs and they are viable..no reason they can't hatch even at this late date.
