University of Toledo - Belle (Beauty's sister!) and Allen

Kris was asking about Belle and nesting history so thought I'd post this over here too.  Did some digging and here's what I've found so far.  Started a new topic because they have a Falcon cam going live soon too!

Found their Facebook page but they only joined in 2012..last year and this year Belle laid / has laid 4 eggs.

They are also getting a 'Falcon Cam' shortly (which I believe someone else posted a few days ago but didn't realize it's was Belle's site)

Here’s some technical stuff from IT that even we bird-lovers can understand: UT’s IT Department explained that creating access for the Fal-Cam involves “punching holes� in the firewall that protects the overall system from cyber-attacks. Right now because of final exams, a system freeze is in place — that is, to ensure that students’ access to the Internet is unimpaired during exams, no changes to the firewall are made. However, IT has been doing the necessary research to identify exactly where the holes need to be punched to allow the Fal-Cam video stream to reach outside campus. Security issues have to be addressed as well so that the Dr. Evils of the world don’t enter the UT system through these holes. IT plans to begin testing its plan for full implementation next week — so hang tight!

Looks like the final chick tally for 2013 is two. Belle & Allen haven’t had a brood this small since 2008. On the other hand, given the parents’ experience in raising gangs of four, these will be two amply-fed chicks!
