Very Sad News 9/30/25

It is with a very heavy heart that I have to share that Brian, a long time Rochester Falcon Watcher, has passed away. Many of you may remember that it was Brian and I who rescued our beloved Mariah on a long ago Easter Sunday morning.

He was our dear friend and we will miss him very much.

I know you are with Mariah, Kaver, Isaura, a young female juvie you called Princess and all our lost falcons.

   I met Brian in 2008, when I attended my first Falcon Watchers meeting at High Falls. When the meeting ended, Brian introduced himself, led me outside, turned me in the direction of the Kodak Tower, pointed near the top, handed me his binoculars, and gave me my very first lesson in “falcon watching”. We’ve been fast friends ever since that evening. Bird Dude, BD, Buddy… Brian. I can’t imagine what life will be like without having him here to see, text with, or talk to, every single day. Godspeed, my dear friend. 💔🌈❤️
