A Quick Quest Update

For those of you that have been wondering where Quest is, we continue to receive weekly transmitter readings from our DEC friends.

Quest remains very close to her nestsite in North York (Ontario, Canada) usually within a mile. It will be very interesting to see what she does. Will she stay there or will she return to her wintering spots on the north side of Lake Ontario? Stay tuned!

I hope her transmitter remains in place — at least for this winter– then we will have an idea of her patterns, and hopefully she will return to Don Mills and Kendal!

  2. Alison Says:

Thank-you. When she looses the transmitter, it would be MUCH better at the nest site than out over water…

I had been wondering about her whereabouts – thank you for the update! Any recent news on Harlequin’s whereabouts?

  4. Jess Says:

@Maureen – There have been no recent, reported sightings of Harlequin. We can only hope she’s ok and that we’ll hear about her in the future, like we did her mom. 🙂

@Jess – thank you! Fingers crossed that we do!! 🙂
