Carol P. – Seven Sensational Seneca Scenes – 7/15/08 (AM) – 7 Videos
I wish there were more than 24 hours in the day. I just don’t have
time to share my pictures and videos. So I took a break to post
these 7 video snippets for your entertainment. They are of the very
beautiful Seneca, first eating on Pride’s Rock and then scampering in
the grass behind Pride’s Rock. In one, she actually eats a purple
flower! Watchers included Lynda, Kris, Bill and myself. I also have
many pictures to share, someday.
All of these tinyurl’s will bring you to a separate video snippet set-
up on my KGallery site. No sign on needed.
I couldn’t just choose a few to share, so I share them all. There is
some graphic eating by Seneca, so beware. 😉
Enjoy!

Amazing stuff! Thank you very much for taking time to post these! Has anyone witnessed a juvie make a kill of their own yet? Besides a flower, that is 😉

Awesome videos – Thanks so much.

Great videos of a gorgeous juvie, Carol. I think Seneca’s table manners are impeckable. 🙂

The flower must have been dessert!

Maureen in MA – No one has witnessed a juvie make a kill yet as far as I know. But, I wouldn’t be surprised if they had already and if not, it will probably be soon. This year’s Fab Five are incredible! 🙂 – Carol P.

I love the ones where she’s running around. Seneca looks like she’s having a bit of salad after the Main Course.
I know it spoils the alliteration, but I think you’ve shared eight videos with us… Or maybe “Carol’s Seven” is like a baker’s dozen??? 😛

Cool videos, Carol — my fave is #8: “Seneca Charges Carol P!”

I hate to be a spoil sport, but I do not think she ever actually ate a flower, I think she took one into her beak (that is, I see this behavior in two videos, so it is more than one blossom) and, discovering that purple and pink do not always mean meat, drops it again.
Nevertheless they are very entertaining videos and now we see why “Hollywood” uses what is known as a Steadycam 😉 I had to smile, as your experienced hand and eye tried to second guess where she would head next, but quickly stopped the motion a heartbeat after she stopped running, always keeping Seneca in the frame. I never could have done that.

It’s always interesting to see how they manage to perambulate on those BYF’s. They don’t hop like a sparrow, nor do they waddle like a duck. It’s quite unique. Seneca moves quite gracefully, actually.

Thanks, Carol!

Jim – LOL! So I can’t count! Hahaha!
Alison – You’re right about the steadiness factor. I was standing in the same position for over 20 minutes, not moving a muscle, switching back from picture to video taking over and over again. I think I was doing a pretty good job at becoming one with the background. 😉 When she finally flew away, I was finally able to move! Oh boy, did I feel it!
