How excellent to catch a successful stoop in the new place. The Broad St Bridge is becoming the place to be.

I was down below watching when Beauty flew off of the nest box and snagged a pigeon over the river. She had a heck of a time gaining altitude, but she finally made it back to the nest box to enjoy her dinner. I love watching them hunt.

I know right? Where are all the guys? Too many females and not enough males.

Well I am not worried yet. There seems to be a migration delay, my TVs aren't back yet either. They are usually here by now.

Am I right in vaguely remembering that Mariah produced a lot more females than males? Could there be a surfeit of females? It is hard to imagine that no handsome young tiercel has found either Beauty or Quest without there being some reason. Quest seems to be moving around too much to have found a sweetheart.

Just logged in a few minutes ago...Wasn't sure how to post the pix on to the forum
. Beauty and another PF were appearing to bow to one another ...the other falcon had a black tag, 25 over V. I cannot remember if that is Archer or not. Still learning how to do all this. Happy spring to all.
