Thanks all - I missed a lot - had a meeting in the middle, so I'm playing catch up.

What a great banding day! I can't help feeling just a bit sad, though, that we never had such sophisticated video and audio coverage of banding (and daily life) for the Mariah and Kaver eyasses.

Nice, but the technology wasn't cheaply available back then, so we move forward. Imagine 5 years down the road

I realize that, Janet. Just feeling nostalgic...at my age an allowable indulgence! As for five years down the road...I envision turning the sound off! If two can make that much noise, just imagine what 4-5 will sound like!

The chicks have been back in the nest for a while. Any sign of A or B?
I don't remember Mariah staying away this long after they were put back.
Is this usual behavior?

Beauty is outside, I can see her on one of the other cams. She is probably 'on guard' to make sure the bad men are really gone. Not unusual at all. Some run in right away and others are wary until they feel sure the threat is gone.

They ate not too long before banding, so I suspect we'll hear that Beauty is perched above the nest box or on Mercury making sure those horrible creatures don't come back.

What are the weights of these girls? Want to see how much the Big girl weighs compared to the little one.
Does anyone have them?
Thanks
