I'm so happy to see these two are doing so well. It's been an absolute pleasure watching them grow up and following all the daily posts, especially the witty commentary by all of you with the screen shots you post! Honestly every day I come here to read about them puts a smile on my face!
Me too!!!

Yes many people are stopping to ask about the falcons and actually appreciate our stories. I never knew the people were so friendly here in Rochester...course we have seen our share of shall I say "savory characters". It's all good.
It was not too many years ago that Rochester was voted one of America's friendliest cities.

Someone just walked past Jemison-not a clue-though I'm sure the wall is higher than it seems
Jemison's 4-5 stories up from street level (I wasn't counting closely-- too busy taking pics of him). He made a nice long flight before landing there, including a nifty dive toward the river just north of the Broad St. bridge. It looked like he might have been chasing a bird but I can't be sure. We were near the War Memorial/Blue Cross Arena and looking into the sun at the time. Still, based on what I saw today he's in the Zephyr category for me-- flying & landing well, no worries about him (unless he does something foolish like fly too low into traffic).
Pics and blog post to follow.
When the cam zoomed back I realized how high it was-the parked cars looked a lot closer zoomed in

Looks like your Avian Ambassadors have you on track to be there again!

Jemison is definitely Zephyr like. From the beginning, he has just flown really well. And he is watchful of his parents' techniques. Amazing little bird!

I was thinking the same thing...oh, Zephyr was an awesome flyer! Don is already planning how to photo the food exchanges between Jemison and an adult!

I think it was Zephyr who was flying around with a bird part over the gorge. Lou got the photo! Jemison is definitely going to be fun to watch when Beauty lets him do his thing!

I was there that day! Lou definitely got some great pics. Zephyr was having a grand old time buzzing the gulls while carrying his prize around the gorge.
