Another cold, frigid day in Rochester, NY, with yet another wind chill warning in affect (until 7am tomorrow morning). When I left for work this morning, it was +9 degrees (F). It's now +3 degrees and the weather folks say the temps will plummet during the day. Stay warm and be safe! Each day Spring gets a little closer.

At 5:00 am it was -5 (F) frigid degrees with a wind chill of -26 degrees. But not to worry. The temps will soar up into the 20's during the day with some sunshine too! Woohoo! Have a great day everyone and stay warm and safe. Last week of February, moving into March!

But we don't want them! So you keep them!
You know how I know Spring is coming? I heard my first singing Cardinal Sunday morning. They have been around, but this little guy was singing his heart out trying to attract a mate!

Hi Bobbie!
I thought it was about time I started getting out earlier. I predict spring is right around the corner! I can almost see it with my binocs!!

It's a heatwave here in Rochester, NY! When I woke up this morning for work, it was 20 degrees ABOVE zero and snowing. 25 degrees warmer than it was at that time yesterday morning.
The snow made for some sloppy travel this morning. But traffic was still moving, a little slower than usual, but that's ok. Slow and easy gets you where you're going.
Temps are expected to drop during the day, and we might get a bit of sun later on. I'm all good with that!
Take care everyone and keep thinking those springtime thoughts!

Hah! I'll bet it was Dot.ca who flew east off the SE wing of TSB Looks like he landed on the main cam right after I tweeted about it. Maybe he and Beauty were both keeping an eye on the kestrel.

No problem Donna! I knew about the Kestrel when I was reading a comment on my watch report today. Ciuciek pointed it out and when I was looking in the archives for the Kestrel I came across DC.

Good catch Ciuciek! Thanks for the heads up!
Kestrels are definitely bold little falcons. What a great size comparison. Thanks for posting the pics Donna!

It's really sad when you walk out the door and breath in the cold 10 degree (F) air and think, it's really kind of nice out here.
No new snow, no wind to speak of and the roads were clear down to pavement. Have a nice day everyone!
