95 signatures so far with lots to go before we reach 1000! Don't forget to sign the petition and maybe a moderator or whoever could put it on Rfalconcam's FB page..I don't see that it's been posted on there yet. I do see several from BCAW have signed and skygirlblue has posted the link on their FB page for us.

The City of Rochester's public informational meeting for the High Falls Pedestrian Access Improvement Study has been set for Tuesday, September 1, 2015, from 5:30 to 7:00 PM at the LaLuna Banquet Facility at 60 Brown's Race in the High Falls District.
The meeting will be an "open house" format with several stations that display project information and bridge design ideas. Project consultants, LaBella Engineers and Trowbridge/Wolf/Michaels Landscape Architects, will be on hand along with city staff to answer questions and to solicit public input on the four options being considered for a new pedestrian bridge over the falls as well as other important pedestrian access issues into and through the High Falls District.
Details are posted at the City of Rochester web site.

June, Joyce, Brian, Larry O and I attended this meeting yesterday. There were 4 proposed new pedestrian bridge concepts on display. They were asking the public to rate them, least favorable to most favorable. We were also asked to leave our comments about the project. The possible zip line was not included at this meeting.

Sorry, I couldn't attend.
Even though the zip line wasn't on the agenda, did anyone bring it up?

We asked about the zip line, but it wasn't anything that the attendees could talk about or knew about. The 4 proposed bridges were interesting. They would allow people to walk over the falls from the east or west sides of the gorge. 3 of the 4 had cables. I gave the highest ratings to the one bridge that did not have cables. Everyone I knew that attended also submitted comments stating that a wildlife/environmental study be conducted before anything was done. As far as I could tell, this was just a preliminary meeting to invite folks to comment on what was being proposed. It did not include Greentopia or the zip line.
