She's been looking around for dad. I saw him with food earlier on the middle cam but no delivery, he just left with it. You can tell she's on edge! She took off for a few minutes and came back with nothing, not even a cached food! I hate when you have to refresh to read any new comments but as I was, Cadence was feeding the kids a tiny little morsel, just curious how she got it!
Oh, my point in this pic is noticeable!

Let's keep our fingers crossed, folks. The NJ biologists are monitoring the scrape. The recent policy has been to let nature take it's course, as hard as that is to watch. But they do step in. Remember, it is dangerous to be up on those rooftops to do something that may not even make a difference or may make matters worse. But you all in Rochester know that better than most.

I posted to you on their site that he brought the tiny morsel of food to her. Hard to watch the feeding because she had her tail end facing the camera.

I see that, she was gone awhile and I left my desk and she was back with a fresh kill. Good to see more regular feedings today. The male has tried today but his meals are so so tiny - not sure why which is why I'm wondering if something isn't going on in the area that has food being scarce. He'd hardly be alive this long if he wasn't eating. Maybe there is some other birds nesting nearby - like Red Tails or something and they have food competition.

Just opened cam and see she's de-feathering something - I think the blue jay. Then Dad came in with some yellow bird. He has stepped it up today. Maybe it just took him a minute to realize that he's got to deliver, or maybe there were storms or intrusions yesterday. Glad to see more feedings today. When I compare these 4 to B&DC's 3 - I realize 1 less mouth, but they seem much smaller.
ETA: I see he has joined her in the igloo and is feeding too!

I'm breathing a sigh of relief. Fingers are still crossed, though.

8.00 pm and Cadence in with big meal for the kids. Didn't see who brought it but it's prepared this time so likely dad and the kids are getting a good feed before bedtime!
