Yes, you read correctly. We are tentatively planning the NEXT Rochester Falcon Watcher Weekend. This week worked out so well, we thought we'd plan it for the same week next year.

So if all goes well, we will plan the 2018 Falcon Watch Weekend for

June 22, 23 & 24

If there are any changes or additional information, it will be posted here.

SAVE THE DATE!

Assuming 4 healthy eyases, fledging will occur approximately June 15-19 this year.

OK-room booked at the Holiday Inn (used to be Rochester Plaza I think)! Riverside is sold out (or so they say) and Hyatt & Hilton were a bit pricey for that weekend.

You are correct. The Rochester Plaza Hotel became a Holiday Inn on 2015.

Also, for those not familiar with the name Riverside (aka Rochester Riverside Hotel), it used to be the Radisson. It changed ownership last October. Interestingly, The Riverside was a Holiday Inn many years ago.

Carol Lukka told me the International Jazz Festival is scheduled for this week. Might be why the hotels are full.

I knew it had to be something!  If not full they are over 250.00 a night!!!  Holiday Inn was the best when I looked and Ei found it too.
