Carol Lukka told me the International Jazz Festival is scheduled for this week. Might be why the hotels are full.
I knew it had to be something!  If not full they are over 250.00 a night!!!  Holiday Inn was the best when I looked and Ei found it too.

So happy you were able to find a room! Smiley

Have to wait and see what happens in Jersey City.  Juliet and Beauty have the same due date.

I don't think I'll be able to make it again this year.  With four scrapes down (Water St, Jersey City, Cadence at Union County, Riverside Church) here all ready to fledge at the same time as Rochester I want to be close to home.

Well phooey! We'll miss you, but I understand the need for watchers on the ground!

Sorry you won't be able to make it Bonnie, but I'm very thankful you'll be able to keep an eye on Cadence and her fledglings. We'll miss you!

We've been following the weather forecast for this weekend and it sadly doesn't look good. Looks like rain both Saturday and Sunday. I keep hoping it will change.

We plan on meeting on Aqueduct St, aka "the hole", since the juvies are still staying close to the Times Square Bldg. Plan on meeting there around 8 am and we plan on bringing breakfast to share.

Hopefully it won't be a total rainout. Be sure to bring an umbrella and rain gear!

Can't wait to see all that are coming to visit!

Hi, all of you there tonight.  As soon as I can if the rain lets up, I'll be with Cadence in Elizabeth.  If time permits in JC for Juliet and the kids.

Most of my pictures from the weekend are really for my personal memory only...my cameras can't get as close as the photographers in the group. But I do have 2 just for Carol.

The Great Race was passing through Rochester this morning while we were on watch. Carol saw one go by with flags on the back, but she missed getting a picture.

Well, guess what I saw on my way home?

Not only did I pass it and get a picture from the car, they pulled into the rest area for gas just as I was finishing filling up!
