Remembering Seneca...here is a photo of her as a juvie on 7/19/08 when she was flying the gorge close to the watchers.

The photos posted on CMNH by Chris & Chad are fantastic!  Oh, this is so exciting to have such great photographers documenting one of our babies.

I look forward to Chris and Chad capturing the corresponding Adult image (full-sized).  Thanks, Joyce - she was so reluctant to leave the box.

She was very reluctant.  That summer, Mariah seemed to be really having fun with the juvies.  She took so much care with Seneca, flying with her and tending to her.  I still remember the day at the bridge when Dan S. said he thought he was watching Mariah flying and in a stoop-- and found that it was Seneca.

She was a beautiful juvie and now a gorgeous adult!  We got over to watch the juvies a few times in '08 and it's wonderful knowing that she and Quest have done well in their 2 years.     clap

she is beautiful. I remember she wouldn't leave the playpen and Kaver went and had a talk with her. Next thing you knew she was tearing up the sky. I always think of her as Daddies little girl.

Carol P - is my memory correct (it often isn't) that it was Seneca who sat on the pedestrian bridge, just outside the railings, watching the people go by only inches away? So you and I, wanting to show her that she should not trust people, ran towards her to scare her away - and people thought we were just awful!
