Has Orville pulled himself together?

I don't know-Carol reports he is on watch with everyone, so he must be feeling better

He cracked and fell to pieces! (Not that Orion had anything to do with it).
Maybe he jumped, who knows!

I'm sure he has a splitting headache.

Orville can't be returned until later in the year when the falcons are not interested in defending the nest box. This usually happens around October through December.

Should we organise a visiting roster? Should I bring flowers? Is there a possibility of contagion? Do I need gloves? So much to ponder!

Orville has gone where few (if any) rocks have gone before.
One small step for rock one giant leap for rock kind.

So, is anyone fostering Orville until his return to the nest?

Carol has Orville now and if he can be so called "pieced together or cloned", he will be put back in the nest in Oct. We'll have to see if Orion gets the migration itch first, otherwise, well, you know him and his Orville!

Hi Everyone,
I have been gone for several weeks and I did
not hear what happened to Orville. Did he go over
the side of the scrape and break? I am very anxious
to hear what happened. How did Carol get him? If
he is with her, I know he is in good hands.

Could this be Orion watching Orville going down?
Or did he take Orville to the wall?
Orville stooped!
He wound up on the ground and was rescued using standard fledge watch techniques -- watchers slowly approaching from front and rear.

(movie) He may need piecing back together to get a mold. That was quite a drop.
And, finally...last, but not least

Orville has been resting comfortably.
He keeps asking me how his good friend Orion is doing.
He really misses him.
He would also like to thank all of his many fans around the world for their well wishes.
