The post-full moon was visible last night.

Speaking of the moon. exactly one year from today, the moon will eclipse the sun over a large swath of North America from Mexico to Canada, and beginning at 3:20 PM EDT Rochester will experience totality. Fingers crossed that it will be a sunny day like today.

4/9/23 Nest Box Visits

Happy Easter!

I went downtown for my yearly Easter Sunday morning falcon watch. I found Nova on the Frontier Communication Tower. First time I've seen a falcon there in a long time. It was a quiet and peaceful watch.

Here are some pictures from today.

A mix of clouds & sun during the morning will give way to cloudy skies this afternoon. Slight chance of a rain shower. High 66 F. Winds NNE at 5 to 10 mph. Yesterday was very warm!

We had a changing of the guard at 6:12 am. Neander out, Nova in!
