The post-full moon was visible last night.
Speaking of the moon. exactly one year from today, the moon will eclipse the sun over a large swath of North America from Mexico to Canada, and beginning at 3:20 PM EDT Rochester will experience totality. Fingers crossed that it will be a sunny day like today.

4/9/23 Nest Box Visits
Happy Easter!
I went downtown for my yearly Easter Sunday morning falcon watch. I found Nova on the Frontier Communication Tower. First time I've seen a falcon there in a long time. It was a quiet and peaceful watch.
Here are some pictures from today.

Sunshine and a few afternoon clouds. High around 70F, although the local weather says 80+F, so we'll see. Winds NNE at 10 to 15 mph. Also, an air quality alert, 11 am to11 pm. Air quality health advisory for ground level ozone.
