12/3/23 Falcon Pics and Observations
And another rainy day and no haiku takers accept some really bad ones? We can do better than that.
A foggy start to the day.
One falcon on top of the Wilder Chimney.
Nova and Neander together on the Wilder Chimney. Looks like they have full crops.
Raining hard with thunder and lightning. 44 F at 5:31 pm.

12/7/23 Falcon Pics and Observations
Pearl Harbor Memorial Day and 1st day of Hannukah.
Woke up to about an inch of snow on the ground and the sound of plows salting the roads. Temps started in the 20sF, now 33F at 9:50 am.
9:20 am - Neander arrived on the Wilder Chimney. At first I didn't think he had food.
At 9:24 am, Neander has either a piece of food, or he very quickly caught small prey. Can't tell without seeing the video. My best guess is he successfully hunted.
At 9:48 am, Nova arrived with much larger prey. A few moments later Neander landed nearby to watch.
At 10:04 am, Neander makes his move and they switch places!
C'mon Nova! Can we please share!
And he's off!

Good morning! I was just outside and it feels a bit like Spring. Current temp of 51F with a slight breeze. Go out and enjoy the fresh air and if you're lucky, you might spot a falcon. 🙂
8:10 am. 1st falcon arrives on the Wilder Chimney.
It was Nova and she has a full crop. I was downtown this morning and saw Neander eating on the SW corner of the 5 Star Bldg at this time.
Both together.

Finally, Neander showed up on the Wilder Chimney at 12:15 pm.
12:38 pm. Nova arrives.
