I watched it all the time after school, until it ended. No one I know remembers this. Someone out there must have seen it.
Thankfully, I missed it !!!
You serious, this was a masterpiece!

The Baltimore Orioles Fans and their hate of the NY Yankees...
Now, where did this come from???
Back in 1901 the Baltimore Orioles left and moved to New York where they became the New York Highlanders. In 1902 the New York Highlanders became the NY Yankees that we know and love today.
So, the Baltimore Orioles and the NY Yankees are wood-pile relations

Dark Shadows??? Boy, did some of us ever need something else to occupy our time when we got home from school 'way back then!
Do you remember their "fine production values"? One instance I recall... Barnabas is on the upper landing of that creaky old house, and he exits the door. (He is all caped-up, of course...) Anyway - he exits, and there is some sort of sound off-shot. And he goes BACK, closes the door behind him, and then enters AGAIN! WHAT a hoot!
Who was the woman? The older one, kinda well known in the 1940s - B-movie actress... Joan...? Joan...? Not Joan Crawford... Joan Bennett??
You know, there was a remake of Dark Shadows that I fell across not long ago while channel-hopping (and therefore
still
needing something productive to occupy my mind...). Truly, there was! I knew what it was immediately, but it disappeared. Probably for the best - how could they have improved on perfection??? Haha!
Slainte!

Never having been a big TV watcher, I can add that Dark Shadows was one of the many I didn't ever watch. BUT... I DID buy the 45 rpm single of the lovely "Quentin's Theme", from the show, and in fact still have it

I've never heard of many of these shows and didn't watch Dark Shadows but I loved the Howdy Doody Show!
Loved Buffalo Bob! Whoops-I think that was in the 50's!

I used to pointedly leave the room when Howdy Doody came on, and my sisters glued themselved to the TV.

We watched that show too Bobbie, it was back in 1991. Was on for 1 season and disappeared. Was called "Dark Shadows" with Ben Cross and Joanna Going. We actually liked that show. Then the War began, "Desert Storm" and all eyes were glued to that and not Dark Shadows. Even though it received good ratings, they decided not to bring it back.
(If that's the one your talking about).
