The Latin Mass was still on the go when we were kids (speaking of understanding...). My brothers and sisters and I used to think the Agnus Dei (Agnus Dei, qui tolis pecatta mundi...) was actually saying: "Are you staying? We call this a koatamundi..."

Oh I'm not even going there, I was reading all MY mistakes in many many songs. Funny how we make up our own words for lyrics we don't really hear clearly. I'm so ashamed!

NOT ashamed! It's all part of the fun! My mom used to think (for example) that the old Motown song "Wishin' and Hopin'" was actually saying:

Washin' and a-moppin'

Must be a Mom-Thang!
