MAK--i'm confused---I know a Callidora, who was indeed a big girl, but she is a barn
owl born last summer in san marcos california--are we talking different birds--i think so

Callidora was Archer and Beauty's daughter- born last year.  Her brother (banded a female but was thought to be male) is Jemison.

Which, of course, reminds me of the classic Shakypic (2003)...

Quest is laying an egg every other day around 4pm ish. With luck the "Rochester gang" will see #3 in the box on Monday. 1-5 eggs is very possible. 5 would be a real handful for new parents, although our boy Kendal seems to have the providing food thing down pat.

Please all.  Let's pray for only three or two hatches.  She and Kendal are newbies.

Who knows, I don't think it's monitored 24/7 like here. Archer did it last year too. He's a funny kinda guy.

From Jan on KFC:

Big Frank: Although I, and everyone else who has followed Quest's travels,
appreciate what has been done for her and her mate by so many of you Toronto
folks I think we appreciate even more your notes to reassure us that good things
were in the works. Thank you!

Thanks for the kind words Jan,CPF,from the top down will be in close contact with folks in Rochester who will get out information almost as we post it to the CPF site. I will be around monitoring the board to offer what I can to calm excited nerves and answer  questions I am able to.
